Hello people. This is my newest friend. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but I think I'm gonna like it. I'm not too familiar with this brand but I did a little horse trading, so to speak, to aquire it. I suspect it's likely not high in the price spectrum but it seems to be well made and not a bad looking gun either. Of course I would still like to put a number on it's value. I'm also very curious as to when it was manufactured.

It's a single action six. The receiver is blued differently than the rest, looks heat colored, I forget what they call that but personaly I like what it does for it. It's just under 7-1/2' from the cylinder to barrels end. If anyone can tell me more about it that would be great, or know of any link to get that info. As always, thanks for your time and please share your thoughts.

The Arminius line of guns was made by Hermann Weihrauch Co. In Germany, and imported between about 1960 and 1980. There were several U.S. Importers over the years, and changes were made in the model name and number as the importer wished. The quality is not bad, not S&W or Korth, but far above many imports of the period. Value generally runs around $250 in good condition, but there is little or no collector interest.

A Google search on Arminius and Weihrauch will turn up more info than I can give here. The company is still in business, making air guns and blank firing pistols.

Imported by F.I.E Corp. There's 3 or 4 markings stamped but my cheap camera won't focus, too small. But yes on the H. Weihrauch, German made. I'll try a pic on those markings for whoever's interested but if they dont turn out I wont bother to post'em. I tried a couple googles before I posted but didnt come up with anything good, I will try some more on that. I'm sure it's out there, just gotta find it.

Thanks for that info so far. The value you guys are quoting is right where I figured. I'm gonna to try and narrow down the year a bit closer if I can. I know sometimes it can't be done but it's nice to get it within the decade. • The Firearms Forum is on online community for all gun enthusiasts.
